Saturn Valley

Location from EarthBound by Shigesato Itoi / Nintendo

The hidden village of the Mr. Saturns — cylindrical houses, free hospitals, unnecessary ladders, and the gentle absurdity that is EarthBound's heart.

Saturn Valley is home to the Mr. Saturn species and is one of EarthBound's most iconic locations. The hotel and hospital are free, reflecting the Mr. Saturns' generous nature. The food includes Peanut Cheese Bars and Piggy Jelly. The valley sits near Master Belch's factory at Grapefruit Falls, where many Mr. Saturns were enslaved to produce Fly Honey. Saturn Valley is also the second-to-last location the party visits before traveling to the Cave of the Past. Dr. Andonuts sets up the Phase Distorter here. It's where the party says their final goodbyes before having their souls transferred into robot bodies. The last warm, safe, human (or Saturn) moment before the end of the world happens in a village of round creatures who say 'boing.'

Appearance

Round, cylindrical houses dotting a valley. Ladders leading nowhere useful. Hot springs steaming nearby. Everything is slightly too round and slightly too cheerful. The Mr. Saturn font appears on signs that make only partial sense.
