Jeff's brilliant but emotionally absent father — a scientist so absorbed in his inventions that he barely recognizes his own son, yet whose creations are essential to saving the world.
Dr. Andonuts lives in a laboratory near Stonehenge in Winters, surrounded by his inventions and apparently unbothered by the fact that his son is at a boarding school across a frozen lake. When Jeff arrives at the lab for the first time in who-knows-how-long, the doctor's reaction is essentially 'oh, you've grown.' He then hands Jeff an experimental aircraft and sends him off. He built the Sky Runner, repaired and reprogrammed it multiple times, and eventually constructed the Phase Distorter series in collaboration with Apple Kid and the Mr. Saturns — the device that allows the party to reach the Cave of the Past. His final act is transferring the children's souls into robot bodies so they can survive time travel. He also made Brick Road's dream come true by turning him into Dungeon Man, the first fusion of human and dungeon. He is a genius whose inventions save the universe, and a father whose son had to cross a continent alone to get his attention.
