Character from Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman
A former dungeon crawler turned crusading journalist — pale, pretty, perpetually nervous, and the talk show host who assassinated a king on her way to exposing the system.
Rosetta's nervous energy is the physical manifestation of someone who knows too much and hasn't finished telling people. A former dungeon crawler turned journalist, she created a documentary and hosts Shadow Boxer, a weekly talk show funded by the Open Intellect Pacifist Action Network. The show has gained considerable popularity, which makes her both influential and targeted. She can't tell if Carl is smart or outrageously lucky — her own words — which is the most honest assessment anyone has given of him. She interviewed Carl and Donut under the pretense of discussing Earth television while actually attempting to influence their decisions about the dungeon's second phase. Harbinger interrupted when she displayed fabricated evidence. She assassinated King Rust during negotiations, which suggests her journalism has a very active editorial policy. Her combination of idealistic conviction and practical violence makes her one of the dungeon's most unpredictable players.
Pale and pretty, appearing to be in her early twenties despite an older-sounding voice. A Crest species. Sports a long flowery tattoo on her right leg and wears distinctive blob-like wigs over her bald head. Constantly rubbing her thigh when anxious, always aware of escape routes — the body language of someone who survived something that taught her to never stop checking the exits.
