Osvaldo

Character from Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman

A Brazilian Ranger who put every stat point into Dexterity and became the dungeon's parkour king — direct, competent, and popular enough to make the leaderboard on acrobatics alone.

Osvaldo is the rare min-maxer whose build philosophy ('put everything into Dexterity and let God sort out the rest') actually works. His Ranger class combined with all-Dexterity allocation creates a combat style that looks like someone edited out the wire work from a kung fu movie — wall-running, acrobatic combat, the kind of mobility that makes audiences gasp. He's assertive with dry humor: 'So help me god, Jurgen. If you break that door before we get through, I will end you' — delivered with the casual certainty of someone who's done the math and knows he's faster. His team Flamengo gained popularity during the fourth floor, and he ranked eighth on the leaderboard after the eighth floor broadcast. His Memorial Crystal necklace creates indirect conflict with Carl's quest objectives, making him one of the few crawlers whose loot choices have political consequences. He participates in Carl's group chat and became a notable presence through recap episodes showcasing his acrobatic combat style.

Appearance

A Brazilian crawler who chose the Curupira race but appears human. His extreme dexterity min-maxing is visible in how he moves — 'doing some crazy parkour shit' that makes physics look optional. Wears a Memorial Crystal necklace from the sixth floor boss. His Stone Hawk pet Gimli presumably perches somewhere dramatic.
