Mount Paozu

Location from Dragon Ball by Akira Toriyama

The remote mountain where Grandpa Gohan raised a Saiyan baby — a peaceful wilderness that became the Son family's home across generations.

Remote enough that young Goku grew up thinking his tail was normal and that everyone could punch through trees. The mountain's isolation shaped Goku's early life — his innocence, his comfort with nature, his complete unfamiliarity with cities and people. Chi-Chi eventually domesticated the area around the house, adding a garden and insisting on furniture. It's the most peaceful place in a universe full of threats, and the Son family keeps coming back to it.

Appearance

Lush forested mountains with rolling green hills, waterfalls, and crystal-clear streams. A small dome-shaped house sits in a clearing surrounded by ancient trees. Wildlife is abundant — deer, fish, and the occasional dinosaur. The air is clean and the nights are full of stars.
