Hyperbolic Time Chamber

Location from Dragon Ball by Akira Toriyama

A pocket dimension where one year passes for every day in the outside world — the ultimate training room, an infinite white void with crushing gravity and extreme conditions.

Psychologically devastating for extended stays. The infinite white emptiness, the isolation, the temperature extremes, and the time distortion break most people within months. Vegeta and Goku used it to prepare for the Cell Games and the Tournament of Power. Gotenks practiced fusion here. The sensory deprivation and physical stress are as much a part of the training as the actual fighting. Only two people can enter at a time (later expanded). Spending too long risks the door sealing permanently.

Appearance

Entered through a simple door on Kami's Lookout. Inside: a small living area with beds, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a hourglass timer near the entrance. Beyond the living area: an infinite, featureless white void stretching in every direction with no horizon, no landmarks, no sky. The temperature swings from extreme heat to extreme cold. Gravity is ten times Earth's normal. The air is thin.
