Item from Dragon Ball by Akira Toriyama
The distinctive vest that appears on any warrior created through the Fusion Dance — a visual marker that someone performed the ridiculous dance correctly.
The Fusion Dance, taught by the Metamorans (a race Goku met in Other World), combines two fighters of similar size and power level into one. The dance itself is absurdly precise and embarrassing — matching poses, exact timing, fingertips touching. If done wrong, you get a fat or skinny failed fusion. If done right, you get a warrior wearing this vest. The thirty-minute time limit and the requirement for matched power levels make it less flexible than Potara fusion, but it doesn't require divine artifacts. Gogeta and Gotenks both wear this vest.
A dark-colored sleeveless vest (typically black or dark blue) with a light-colored collar and trim, worn over baggy white pants with a blue sash. The vest appears automatically on the fused warrior — no one puts it on manually. It's part of the fusion technique itself.
