Dragon Radar

Item from Dragon Ball by Akira Toriyama

Bulma's signature invention — a palm-sized device that tracks Dragon Ball locations across the planet, making her the most important non-fighter in every Dragon Ball hunt.

Without this device, finding the Dragon Balls would be nearly impossible — they scatter randomly across the entire globe after use. Bulma built the first Dragon Radar as a teenager, and it kickstarted the entire Dragon Ball adventure. Every wish, every resurrection, every Dragon Ball-related plot depends on this palm-sized gadget working. Pilaf's group had inferior Dragon Ball tracking technology; only Bulma's Radar is reliable. The device is the reason Bulma is irreplaceable despite having zero combat ability.

Appearance

A small, round, green handheld device with a circular screen showing a grid map. A single button on top toggles zoom levels. Blips on the screen indicate Dragon Ball positions. Fits in a pocket. Simple, elegant design that has remained essentially unchanged since Bulma first built it as a teenager.
