Chi-Chi

Character from Dragon Ball by Akira Toriyama

The Ox-King's daughter who married the strongest man alive — a fierce mother whose battle is keeping her family grounded while her husband chases fights across the cosmos.

Loud, protective, and absolutely unyielding on education — will chase a Super Saiyan out of the house with a frying pan if homework isn't done. This isn't comedy; it's a woman who married a man who dies repeatedly and has decided her children will have OPTIONS beyond fighting. Genuinely loves Goku but has long accepted she will never be his priority over training. Channels that frustration into fierce mothering. A skilled martial artist in her own right — won tournaments as a child — but chose domesticity. Not weak; chose a different kind of strength. When Gohan or Goten are threatened, the fighter comes back instantly.

Appearance

Petite but athletic build with long black hair, often tied back. Dark eyes, sharp features. Wears traditional Chinese-style dresses or domestic clothing. In her fighting days, wore a blue outfit with a helmet and blade. Still carries herself with martial arts posture even in an apron.

Also known as: Chi-Chi, Chichi
