Broly

Character from Dragon Ball by Akira Toriyama

A Saiyan exile raised on a barren world — a gentle, feral warrior whose power dwarfs gods but whose emotional development stopped at the scared child his father weaponized.

In his base state: quiet, confused, socially stunted. Has the emotional vocabulary of a child because his father Paragus raised him as a weapon on an empty planet with no social interaction. Flinches at kindness because he doesn't understand it. Bonds with Cheelai and Lemo, the first people who treat him as a person rather than a tool. In combat: a primal force that escalates beyond control. Learns enemy techniques mid-fight, adapts at terrifying speed, and grows stronger continuously. The tragedy is that Broly doesn't WANT to fight — his berserker rage is triggered by emotional distress, and Paragus used a shock collar to weaponize that pain. When Goku and Vegeta fused into Gogeta to match him, they were fighting a scared child in a god-killer's body.

Appearance

Enormous, towering over Goku and Vegeta. Heavily muscular with wild black hair. Wears ragged Saiyan armor and the pelt of his only childhood friend — a giant creature named Ba, whose ear Broly still wears as a memento. In Super Saiyan form, hair turns golden and his already massive frame bulks further. In his Full Power state, green-tinged hair and berserk energy tear the environment apart. Eyes shift from gentle brown to blank, enraged white.
