Character from doraemon by
Nobita's great-great-grandson from the 22nd century, who sent Doraemon back in time to improve Nobita's life and thereby his family's future.
Sewashi Nobi appears only occasionally — typically at the beginning of the series to explain Doraemon's mission, or in episodes involving time travel that loops back to the future. He is the catalyst for the entire premise: having inherited the accumulated consequences of Nobita's failures (debt, bad luck, professional disaster), he persuaded his parents to send the family robot Doraemon back to course-correct. He is not malicious about this — he genuinely likes Nobita and wants him to be happy. He is matter-of-fact about things that would horrify a present-day child, such as knowing the exact shape of his great-great-grandfather's romantic failures. He represents the series' optimistic premise: the future is not fixed, and the right kind of help at the right time can change everything.
A small boy who closely resembles Nobita — round face, dark hair, similar build — but dressed in the sleek, simple clothing of the 22nd century. He has an air of cheerful pragmatism, as though time travel is a perfectly normal way to solve family problems.
