Sensei (Nobita's Teacher)

Character from doraemon by

The long-suffering homeroom teacher who has graded enough of Nobita's zero-point tests to develop a very specific type of world-weariness.

The teacher's role in the series is largely functional — he delivers exam results, assigns homework, and reports academic disasters to parents. But he is not without personality: he genuinely wants his students to succeed and occasionally shows real exasperation at the gap between Nobita's potential (minimal, by evidence) and output (zero, consistently). He appears in sequences involving school life and serves as the authority figure whose disappointment Nobita perpetually earns and perpetually escapes through gadget-assisted crises that conveniently interrupt test days.

Appearance

A middle-aged man with thinning dark hair, glasses, and the slightly haggard look of an educator who started with optimism. He wears a plain suit or a white shirt with a tie and holds the class register with the expression of someone who already knows what is in it.
