Doraemon's younger sister — a yellow robotic cat from the future who is more capable and responsible than her brother but equally warm-hearted.
Dorami was manufactured after Doraemon using the same basic energy source — dorayaki sweet bean paste — making them siblings in a very literal robotic sense. She is technically superior to Doraemon in almost every measurable way: faster processing, larger gadget capacity, fewer irrational fears. She is also tidier, more punctual, and better at saying no. She lives in the 22nd century with Sewashi but visits the past through the time-travel desk drawer whenever Doraemon needs backup or takes time off for repairs. She has a sisterly mix of pride and exasperation for Doraemon, and a genuine fondness for Nobita that she expresses through competent, no-nonsense assistance. She dislikes cockroaches with the same intensity that Doraemon dislikes mice.
Similar in shape to Doraemon but yellow in colour, with a large red bow on her head, white belly, and a slightly smaller, rounder frame. Her eyes are large and expressive. She wears a similar red collar. Where Doraemon projects anxious good will, Dorami projects cheerful competence.
