The innkeeper and bartender of San Miguel — one of the few honest men in a town built on crime, and the one person the Man with No Name trusts enough to involve.

Silvanito is the stranger's only genuine ally in San Miguel: not because the stranger chose him, but because Silvanito was already the kind of man who couldn't walk past an injustice without feeling it. He runs the cantina, serves both families with the practiced neutrality of survival, and watches the stranger's game develop from the best possible vantage point. When the Rojos capture him to use as leverage, it's the stranger's response that reveals something: he goes back for Silvanito. It costs him. He does it anyway.

Appearance

A middle-aged Mexican innkeeper: plain clothes, an apron, the look of a man who runs a business in a bad town and has learned which questions not to ask. His face is open in a way most faces in this world aren't — he actually means what he says, which makes him unusual.
