Ubuyashiki Estate

Location from Demon Slayer by Koyoharu Gotouge

The Ubuyashiki family's personal residence — a place of serene gardens and quiet authority that Kagaya detonated with his family inside to wound the Demon King.

The Ubuyashiki estate is separate from Corps headquarters — it's the family's private residence where Kagaya convalesces and his children are raised. The atmosphere is one of cultivated peace that takes deliberate effort to maintain given that its master is dying and its purpose is to command a war. Kagaya conducted meetings here with individual Hashira in private, in a garden room where he could feel the sun. Kagaya rigged the estate with explosives years before his death, embedding them in the structure as a contingency. When Muzan came personally to kill him, Kagaya detonated everything — himself, his wife Amane, and the building — as a tactical strike. The explosion was loaded with wisteria-infused shrapnel and Tamayo's anti-demon compounds. It was the opening move of the final battle.

Appearance

An elegant traditional Japanese estate with immaculately maintained gardens. Paper screens, polished wooden floors, and the quiet taste of old wealth. Wisteria grows along the perimeter. The grounds are peaceful — birdsong, wind through bamboo, the sound of a small water feature. It looks like the home of someone who values beauty and order. After the explosion: a smoking crater where the main building stood, debris scattered across the garden, flames licking at the ruins of what was once the most beautiful estate in the Corps.
