Rengoku Estate

Location from Demon Slayer by Koyoharu Gotouge

The Flame Hashira family home — once bright with the fire of three generations of swordsmen, now dimmed by grief and alcohol, with only Senjuro keeping the hearth alive.

The Rengoku estate should be warm — it was built around a legacy of Flame Breathing, literally designed with training spaces and fire-lit halls. Under Shinjuro's decline, it became a monument to squandered potential. The family guidebook, which Kyojuro used to teach himself Flame Breathing when his father refused, still sits in the study. The training yard still bears marks from three generations of practice. After Kyojuro's death, the estate became the place where Tanjiro connected with Senjuro and confronted Shinjuro about Sun Breathing. The family's knowledge of Breathing Style history — particularly the relationship between Flame and Sun Breathing — makes this house a repository of lore even if its current occupants can't wield it.

Appearance

A traditional Japanese estate that shows signs of former grandeur fading into neglect. Training dummies in the yard are weathered. The main hall has Flame Breathing scrolls mounted but dusty. Shinjuro's presence has made the house feel heavy — bottles accumulate, maintenance lapses. Senjuro's efforts to keep things clean are visible but overwhelmed.
