Location from Demon Slayer by Koyoharu Gotouge
The Final Selection killing ground — a wisteria-ringed mountain where prospective demon slayers must survive seven nights among trapped demons to earn their swords.
Final Selection is the Demon Slayer Corps' entrance exam, and the pass rate is murderous. Candidates enter the wisteria ring at sunset and must survive seven nights on a mountain populated by captured demons — demons that have been trapped within the wisteria barrier and have been fed, growing stronger, for years. There are no rules, no supervision during the test, and no rescue. Survivors gather at the summit at dawn on the seventh day. The mountain is simultaneously beautiful and lethal. Wisteria petals drift on night breezes while demons hunt in the undergrowth. The candidates who survive are the ones who can fight, hide, or — in Sabito's case — protect everyone else at the cost of their own life. The Hand Demon, which killed thirteen of Urokodaki's students, was trapped here for forty-seven years.
A mountain surrounded at its base by a ring of perpetually blooming wisteria trees — their purple flowers create a beautiful, fragrant barrier that demons cannot cross. Inside the ring, the mountain is a different world: dark forest, uneven terrain, and demons prowling everywhere. The contrast between the wisteria beauty at the entrance and the horror within is deliberate. At the peak, a clearing where surviving candidates receive their Kasugai crows and ore for Nichirin blades.
