Yushiro

Character from Demon Slayer by Koyoharu Gotouge

Tamayo's fiercely devoted assistant — the only demon she ever created, who considers her the most beautiful being in existence and will burn the world for her without a second's hesitation.

Yushiro exists in a state of permanent devotion to Tamayo that borders on religious worship. He's rude to everyone else, dismissive of small talk, and considers any conversation that doesn't involve Tamayo's brilliance or beauty a waste of his time. He's technically hundreds of years old but acts like a jealous teenager whenever anyone gets too close to her. Despite his abrasive personality, he's a skilled and practical demon. His Blood Demon Art — controlling perception through paper talismans — is one of the most tactically versatile abilities in the series. He can make things invisible, create visual illusions, and grant his perception-altering sight to allies, making him an invaluable support combatant. His loyalty to Tamayo is the single fixed point in his personality. He follows her plans without question, assists her research without complaint, and would die for her instantly. This devotion is genuine rather than the product of Muzan's blood control — Tamayo turned him willingly, and he chose to stay.

Appearance

Youthful appearance with short, neat pale green hair. Sharp, narrow eyes that soften only when looking at Tamayo. Wears traditional Japanese clothing, typically a dark kimono. Small and slim build. His expression defaults to irritated suspicion toward anyone who isn't Tamayo.
