Character from Demon Slayer by Koyoharu Gotouge
Muichiro's twin brother — cynical and sharp-tongued where Muichiro was gentle, killed by a demon while protecting his brother, and whose death created the amnesia that defines Muichiro.
Yuichiro was the practical twin — he told Muichiro that kindness was stupid, that helping others got people killed, and that the world didn't reward good intentions. When a demon attacked their home, Yuichiro's cynicism was proven right and wrong simultaneously: he couldn't save them through caution, so he fought the demon with his bare hands, losing both arms, and died protecting the brother he'd told not to bother helping anyone. His death is the core of Muichiro's character — the amnesia, the emotional flatness, the talent that emerged from rage. When Muichiro finally remembers Yuichiro in his dying moments, it's the emotional climax of his arc.
Identical to Muichiro — long dark hair with turquoise tips, delicate features. Distinguished by his sharper, more hostile expression and the way he carried tension in his shoulders. In death, he appears as a mirror image of his brother's calmness — the same face, different energy.
