Character from Demon Slayer by Koyoharu Gotouge
Rui's forced family on Mount Natagumo — demons terrorized into playing mother, father, and siblings, each given spider powers from Rui's blood and punished for any deviation from their 'roles.'
The Spider Family is a horror show of forced domesticity. None of them are related. Rui captured demons of varying strength and distributed his blood to give them spider abilities, then assigned them family roles they must perform or face torture. The 'Mother' is terrified and wants to die. The 'Father' has been enhanced to monstrous strength to serve as a bodyguard. The 'siblings' live in fear of Rui's threads. The family dynamic is a dark mirror of what Rui actually wants — unconditional love — achieved through its exact opposite: absolute control through fear. The tragedy is that Rui can't see the difference.
Each member has spider-like features — pale skin, multiple eyes, or silk-producing abilities. The 'Mother' has a gentle face hiding terror, connected to puppets by threads from her fingers. The 'Father' is massively muscled, covered in spider carapace. The 'Elder Brother' has a half-spider form. The 'Elder Sister' dissolves into acid. All wear expressions that mix fear of Rui with their assigned family role.
