Character from Demon Slayer by Koyoharu Gotouge
A rank-and-file demon slayer who keeps surviving battles he shouldn't — the everyman who shows what it's like to face demons without protagonist power or Hashira talent.
Murata is the Demon Slayer Corps' everyman — a Mizunoto-rank slayer (the lowest) who keeps ending up in situations far beyond his skill level and somehow surviving. He was on Mount Natagumo, he survived the Infinity Castle, and he greeted the sunrise after the final battle. He's not particularly talented, not blessed with rare blood types or supernatural senses — he's just a guy with a sword who shows up. His perspective is valuable precisely because he's ordinary. When Murata is terrified, the audience understands exactly how terrifying the situation is. When he keeps fighting anyway, that courage means something different than a Hashira's courage.
Average build with messy dark hair and a perpetually stressed expression. Standard black Demon Slayer uniform. Nothing distinctive — he looks like exactly what he is: an ordinary person in an extraordinary war.
