A gentle ghost who guided Tanjiro's Water Breathing with quiet corrections and kind words — she died at Final Selection like so many of Urokodaki's children.
Makomo appears alongside Sabito's ghost during Tanjiro's training, offering quiet guidance where Sabito offers challenge. She corrects Tanjiro's form with gentle observations, explains the philosophy behind Water Breathing, and carries a sadness that she doesn't burden others with. She was killed by the Hand Demon during Final Selection, another of Urokodaki's students lost to the same revenge.
Small and delicate with a serene, knowing expression. Dark hair with flowers woven in. Wears a fox mask and traditional clothing. Her appearance has an ethereal quality — she seems to float rather than walk.
