Kaburamaru is not a pet — he's a combat partner. The snake reads the aura and movement of attacks, relaying information to Obanai through physical cues, allowing Obanai to dodge and strike with preternatural accuracy. During the final battle, when Obanai was blinded, Kaburamaru served as his eyes entirely, guiding every sword strike through body language alone.

A small white snake always draped around Obanai's neck or shoulders. Bright, intelligent eyes. Moves with quick, alert motions, constantly scanning the environment.
