Character from Demon Slayer by Koyoharu Gotouge
A massive demon trapped on Mt. Fujikasane for forty-seven years who fed on Final Selection candidates — he killed thirteen of Urokodaki's students specifically to hurt the man who captured him.
The Hand Demon was captured by Urokodaki during his active years as Water Hashira and imprisoned within the wisteria barrier on Mt. Fujikasane. Rather than accepting this, he spent forty-seven years growing stronger by eating the candidates who came for Final Selection — and he specifically targeted anyone wearing Urokodaki's fox masks. Sabito and Makomo were among his thirteen victims. His grudge against Urokodaki is personal and petty — he was a relatively weak demon when captured and felt humiliated. His revenge was not to escape but to kill the people Urokodaki loved. When Tanjiro killed him, the Hand Demon cried — not from pain but from the memory of being human, the memory of his brother's hand reaching for him. Even this monster had something worth grieving.
Enormous — far larger than any normal demon, with a body composed primarily of oversized hands growing from a central mass. Dozens of arms sprout from his torso, each ending in grasping hands. His actual face is small and almost childlike relative to his body, peering out from between the hands. Green-tinted skin. His size alone makes him the most physically imposing demon at Final Selection.
