Character from Demon Slayer by Koyoharu Gotouge
Zenitsu's companion sparrow — assigned instead of a crow because even the Corps' bird distribution system knows Zenitsu is special, and somehow communicates vital intelligence through chirps only he can hear.
Chuntaro is Zenitsu's assigned communication bird — a sparrow rather than the standard Kasugai crow, a fact that Zenitsu considers yet another cosmic insult. However, the sparrow communicates through chirps and body language that Zenitsu's supernatural hearing can interpret with precision that no crow communication matches. Chuntaro delivered critical intelligence about the Mugen Train situation and has proven surprisingly effective despite being, by all appearances, just a very small bird.
A tiny, round sparrow with fluffy brown and cream feathers. Much smaller than the Kasugai crows assigned to other slayers. Bright, alert eyes. Often perched on Zenitsu's head or shoulder, looking incongruously adorable next to a terrified demon slayer.
