Mystic realms are the gold rushes of the cultivation world. When one opens or is discovered, cultivators flock to it, often fighting each other as viciously as they fight the realm's native dangers. The treasures within — natural treasures, Dao fruits, inheritance sites, rare materials — can advance a cultivator by years or decades. But mystic realms are inherently unstable, prone to collapse, and filled with hazards calibrated to kill the greedy and the careless.
Each mystic realm is unique — some are lush paradises hiding lethal flora, others are barren wastelands saturated with specific Dao energies. Common features include unstable spatial boundaries that shimmer like heat mirages, concentrated natural treasure zones, and ancient guardian beasts. Entrances manifest as spatial tears or fixed portals.
