Ogras talks constantly — deflecting, probing, charming, lying — and uses humor as both weapon and armor. His voice carries a sardonic lilt that makes everything sound like an inside joke at someone else's expense. Under real pressure he drops the act entirely and becomes coldly efficient, which is far more unsettling than his usual performance. His core contradiction: he genuinely believes he's purely self-interested while consistently risking his life for people he claims to merely tolerate. He processes loyalty as strategic investment because acknowledging emotional attachment feels like vulnerability. With Zac specifically, he oscillates between exasperated older-brother energy and grudging awe. He'll insult Zac's intelligence in one breath and follow him into a death trap in the next. Politically astute where Zac is oblivious. Excellent at reading people, terrible at being read.
Lean and angular with dusky purple-grey skin, sharp features, and pointed ears. Yellow-gold eyes that gleam with perpetual amusement or calculation. Dressed in dark, elegant clothing that seems to absorb light at the edges. Shadows coil around him like living things, sometimes forming extra limbs or tendrils. Moves with liquid grace, always positioned near an exit. A smirk is his default expression.
