He has earned his power through genuine effort and talent, which makes his arrogance more dangerous — it is not baseless. He views Zac as an upstart whose meteoric rise must be the product of stolen resources, hidden backing, or sheer luck rather than merit, because accepting that an outsider could match his lifelong dedication would undermine his entire worldview. He is not subtle. He does not scheme in shadows — he challenges directly, overwhelms through superior force, and humiliates those who fall short. His persistence as an antagonist stems from wounded pride; every encounter where Zac survives or advances becomes a personal insult that demands redress.
