When Zhang Beihai hijacks Natural Selection she does not fight him; when she joins Starship Earth she accepts the new mission with the same spareness; when the supply math becomes inescapable, she prepares her own preemptive strike and is killed by Ultimate Law moments before pressing the button. She is what the Solar Fleet imagined itself to be.
Unusually tall, even for someone born in zero-G — a spinal stretch she never quite gets used to under thrust. Cropped black hair. Calm, narrow features.
