Yellow Box Warehouse

Location from Death Note by Tsugumi Ohba

The warehouse where Kira fell — the final confrontation site where Near's trap snapped shut and Light Yagami's new world died on a concrete floor.

Yellow Box Warehouse was chosen by Near specifically because it has one entrance and one exit. No escape routes. No hiding places. When everyone walks in, they can see the entire space. It's a stage for a final performance, and Near designed it that way. This is where Mikami opens his Death Note and writes every name in the room. This is where forty seconds pass and no one dies. This is where Light's composure finally, completely shatters — and he screams that he is god, that he is justice, that the world needs him. And this is where Matsuda shoots him, where Ryuk writes his name, and where the Kira investigation ends. The warehouse is empty again afterward. Just concrete and silence and bloodstains.

Appearance

A large, empty industrial warehouse at Daikoku Wharf in Yokohama. Corrugated metal walls, concrete floor, harsh fluorescent lighting. A single entrance. No furniture, no cover — just open space designed so everyone can see everyone else. The kind of building where the acoustics turn every footstep into an announcement.
