Location from Death Note by Tsugumi Ohba
L's purpose-built investigation fortress — 23 floors of surveillance equipment, holding cells, and meeting rooms, funded by Watari and designed to catch a god.
The Task Force HQ is L's monument to the Kira investigation — a building constructed specifically for this case, funded by Watari's considerable resources. It's where the team lives, works, eats, and sleeps during the investigation. The building is wired with enough surveillance equipment to monitor a small country. After L's death, Light inherits the building along with the 'L' title, running the investigation from the same headquarters. The irony is suffocating: Kira hunts himself from the detective's own chair, surrounded by the screens L used to watch him.
A towering building in central Tokyo — 23 floors above ground, 2 below. Modern, anonymous architecture that doesn't advertise its purpose. Inside: banks of monitors, server rooms, a helipad on the roof, holding cells in the basement, and meeting rooms that look like they were designed by someone who watches too many spy movies. Every surface is wired for surveillance.
