The Manhattan complex where the Wallfacer Act passes, the Wallbreakers reveal each Wallfacer's plan, and Keiko Yamasuki dies in the meditation room.
Through Book 2 the UN HQ is the world's only permitted stage for revealing or repealing strategy. Each Wallbreaker walks here to dismantle a Wallfacer in front of the species; the Planetary Defense Council sits on the high dais and the Wallfacers themselves on the chamber floor. The meditation room — the chapel-quiet space at the building's heart — is where Keiko Yamasuki commits seppuku after exposing her husband. By the end of the book the building has hosted both the founding and the repeal of the Wallfacer Act.
