A massive waterfall near the Tser Pool encampment — its thundering water is one of the few natural sounds loud enough to drown out Barovia's oppressive silence.
Tser Falls is a towering cascade of water that plunges from a cliff face into the pool below. The roar of the falls is tremendous — one of the few sounds in Barovia that feels genuinely alive. Mist from the cascade hangs in the air, mingling with the ever-present fog of the valley. A bridge spans the river above the falls, offering a vertiginous view of the drop. The falls mark the transition from the eastern reaches of Barovia (the village, the gates) to the western reaches (Vallaki, Krezk, and the deeper dangers).
