The chapel of Castle Ravenloft is a cavernous space of vaulted ceilings and stained glass that no longer catches any meaningful light. It was here that Sergei and Tatyana were to be married. It was here that Strahd murdered his brother. The chapel still bears the psychic weight of that betrayal. Sergei's ghost manifests here, a sorrowful presence that radiates gentleness even in death. The Icon of Ravenloft — a holy relic — may rest on the chapel's altar, depending on the Tarokka reading. The chapel feels sacred in a way that the rest of the castle has long since abandoned.
