Mount Ghakis towers over the western edge of Barovia, its peak lost in clouds that never part. The mountain is brutally cold, assaulted by winds that strip warmth from exposed skin in minutes. The Amber Temple is carved into its face, accessible only through Tsolenka Pass. The mountain itself feels ancient and indifferent — a geological feature that predates the curse, the valley, possibly the world. It is a place where mortal concerns shrink to insignificance against the scale of stone and ice.
