Location from Curse of Strahd by Tracy & Laura Hickman, Chris Perkins / Wizards of the Coast
The barricaded home of the Kolyanovich family in Barovia village — its windows are boarded, its walls bear claw marks, and the body of the late burgomaster lies inside awaiting burial.
The burgomaster's mansion is the largest building in the village of Barovia, and it bears the scars of Strahd's attention. Every window is boarded. Every door is barricaded. Deep claw marks score the exterior walls. Wolves have circled this building night after night, and something worse than wolves has come to the door. Inside, the body of Kolyan Indirovich lies in a coffin in the main hall, awaiting burial that Ismark and Ireena cannot perform alone — the church is compromised and the streets are dangerous. The mansion smells of old wood, cold sweat, and the first stages of decomposition. Ismark and Ireena have been living here in a state of siege, waiting for help that has not come.
