Location from Curse of Strahd by Tracy & Laura Hickman, Chris Perkins / Wizards of the Coast
Vallaki's tavern and inn, run by the Martikov family — a safe house for the Keepers of the Feather and the place where Van Richten hides behind his Rictavio disguise.
The Blue Water Inn is the heart of Vallaki's social life — a timber-framed tavern with creaking floors, a roaring fireplace, and the smell of cooking meat and Barovian wine. Urwin and Danika Martikov run it with efficiency and warmth, and it is one of the few places in Barovia that feels almost safe. Beneath the surface, the inn serves as the operational hub for the Keepers of the Feather. Wereraven intelligence flows through the taproom. Van Richten, disguised as the flamboyant Rictavio, performs stories and entertains guests while quietly gathering his own intelligence. The inn is where plots are hatched, alliances are formed, and the wine — when it's flowing — provides the only reliable comfort in Barovia. The wine, however, has stopped flowing. The last delivery from the Wizard of Wines never arrived.
