Strahd's Animated Armor is a suit of enchanted plate mail that stands in Castle Ravenloft, appearing to be a mere display piece until intruders draw near. Then it steps off its stand and attacks with the skill of the warrior who once wore it — Strahd himself, in his mortal days. The armor is a powerful construct, immune to many forms of damage and relentless in its pursuit of enemies. It represents Strahd's martial past — the conqueror he was before he became the monster he is now.
