The only wine produced in Barovia, made at the Wizard of Wines winery — three varieties exist, and the supply is drying up as the enchanted gems are stolen.
Barovian wine is produced exclusively at the Wizard of Wines winery and comes in three varieties: Purple Grapemash No. 3 (the cheap stuff), Red Dragon Crush (the standard), and Champagne du le Stomp (the good stuff, no longer producible since the first gem was stolen). Wine is the single most reliable comfort available to the people of Barovia. It dulls the fear, warms the cold, and provides a few hours of something that almost resembles normalcy. The Blue Water Inn serves it. The Vistani trade in it. Every settlement depends on it. With the winery under siege and its enchanted gems stolen, the wine supply is drying up. When it's gone, Barovia loses its last anesthetic against despair.
