The Archives is simultaneously a public good and a propaganda tool. The general collection is excellent — well-maintained, accessible, staffed by knowledgeable librarians. But the restricted section holds texts that contradict the Asteri's official history, and access is tightly controlled. Researchers who ask the wrong questions get redirected; those who persist get visited by the 33rd. It smells like old paper, dust, and the faint ozone of preservation wards. It is one of the few places in Lunathion where all species mix freely — knowledge is the one currency that doesn't have a House affiliation.
