Pangera is where the power is. Every major Archangel territory, every important House seat, and the Asteri's capital are all on this continent. It operates under tighter Asteri control than the island territories — surveillance is heavier, the military presence is stronger, and rebellions are crushed faster. The continent's politics are a web of Archangel territories, House jurisdictions, and Asteri oversight. Travel between territories requires papers, and the borders are patrolled. For most residents, their territory is their entire world.
A vast continent spanning multiple climate zones, from the northern wastelands near the Rift to the temperate heartland where the Eternal City sits to the coastal regions dotted with port cities. The landscape is marked by the Asteri's infrastructure: firstlight conduits visible as faintly glowing lines across the terrain, Gate waypoints at major intersections, and military installations at strategic locations.
