Location from Cradle by Will Wight
Lindon's mobile fortress — a cloudship large enough to house his entire team, equipped with soulsmithing workshops, training rooms, and enough firepower to concern an Overlord.
Windfall is what happens when a soulsmith with Sage-level ambitions builds himself a home that can also fight. Lindon constructed it as both a mobile base of operations and a statement of capability — in Cradle, your dwelling reflects your power, and a cloudship this size says 'Monarch-adjacent' to anyone watching. The interior is practical rather than luxurious — workshops dominate, followed by training spaces, then living quarters. Fisher Gesha has critiqued the binding work at least forty times. The ship houses Lindon's entire inner circle and serves as their staging point for operations against the Dreadgods and hostile Monarchs.
A massive flying vessel shaped from cloud-stuff and reinforced with soulsmithed structural bindings. Its hull shimmers with protective formations, and soulsmithing workshops glow through the portholes at all hours. The ship moves through the sky like a small floating island, surrounded by a permanent haze of vital aura generated by its power systems. Training platforms extend from the sides, and Lindon's personal forge occupies the largest interior space.
