Unclaimed territory between faction borders — lawless, resource-rich, and crawling with sacred beasts and remnants that no one has tamed or harvested.
The Wilds are where civilization's writ doesn't run. Between the edges of Monarch territories lie vast stretches of land that no faction controls — forests dense with vital aura, mountains housing ancient remnants, rivers that flow with aspected madra. The resources here are extraordinary: rare cycling fruits, untouched aura wells, remnants carrying bindings that soulsmiths would kill for. The danger is proportional. Sacred beasts rule the Wilds through size and stage. Ancient remnants drift through ruins from civilizations that rose and fell before the current Monarchs claimed their thrones. Dreadgod cults establish camps in the deep Wilds where no one will find them. And independent sacred artists — the desperate, the ambitious, and the exiled — stake out territories and defend them with their lives. For a young artist willing to risk death, the Wilds offer advancement resources that the controlled territories ration or reserve for their elites.
