A border town between Akura territory and the contested badlands — where ambitious sacred artists come to prove themselves and desperate ones come to disappear.
Moongrave is a crossroads town that attracts the ambitious, the desperate, and the criminal in roughly equal measure. Sacred artists at every stage pass through — Jades looking for work, Golds seeking advancement resources, and occasionally a Truegold or Underlord whose presence makes the air taste like ozone. Fisher Gesha maintains a soulsmithing stall here, which draws clients from across the region. The town exists because the aura wellspring makes it worth defending, even though its proximity to the badlands means Dreadgod-cult raids and remnant incursions are regular threats. It's the kind of place where you can find anything if you're willing to risk enough.
A hardscrabble frontier town built around a natural aura wellspring, with stone buildings that double as defensible positions. Market stalls crowd the main street, selling everything from cycling manuals to remnant parts. The Civic Pavilion anchors the town center, and a notice board outside it advertises jobs ranging from remnant hunts to suicide missions. The architecture is practical and heavily repaired — this is a place that gets hit regularly and rebuilds quickly.
