Suriel is the Phoenix — the Abidan Judge responsible for restoring worlds damaged by corruption. She arrives in Sacred Valley to deal with Li Markuth's incursion and, on a whim born of compassion, shows Lindon a vision of Sacred Valley's future destruction. She cannot intervene directly in Cradle's affairs. She can only show him the truth and hope he finds the strength to act on it.
