Character from cradle-underlord by
Lindon's bonded mind-spirit — now fully operational and providing combat analysis, tactical advice, and unsolicited opinions at all hours.
Dross has come into his own since Ghostwater. Fed on dream madra and bonded to Lindon's spirit, he functions as a combat computer — modeling enemy techniques, predicting attack patterns, and running simulations faster than any human mind could. He is also chatty, neurotic, and convinced that any plan with less than a 70% success rate constitutes suicide. His value to Lindon is incalculable. In a world where sacred artists train for decades to develop combat instincts, Dross gives Lindon instant analysis. The downside is that Dross never shuts up.
A small sphere of purple-blue light that hovers near Lindon's head. His 'expressions' are animated and exaggerated — bright spots for eyes that widen in alarm or narrow in concentration.
