She adapts by shifting to defensive construct production and keeping her workshop running through sheer stubbornness. She still evaluates Lindon's soulsmithing progress whenever he visits, still calls him 'boy,' and still takes credit for any construct he builds that meets her standards. In a crisis, competence is comfort, and Fisher Gesha is nothing if not competent.
