Character from cradle-skysworn by
The Underlord pulling strings behind the Skysworn conscription — still smiling, still cryptic, now maneuvering his students through a Dreadgod crisis with the calm of a man who expected this.
Eithan arranged the Skysworn conscription. He won't admit it directly — he never admits anything directly — but the timing was too convenient and the outcome too aligned with his plans to be coincidence. Lindon and Yerin needed access to combat experience, empire resources, and intelligence on the Blood Shadow crisis. The Skysworn provided all three. The Bleeding Phoenix crisis doesn't seem to surprise him. Very little surprises him. He watches the unfolding disaster with the analytical attention of someone cataloguing variables rather than fearing outcomes, and his advice to Lindon and Yerin shifts subtly — less 'advance faster' and more 'prepare for what's coming.' What he knows about what's coming, and how he knows it, remains behind the smile. He's particularly attentive to Yerin's Blood Shadow. Not worried, exactly — Eithan doesn't do worried — but focused in a way that suggests he has opinions about how this should be handled and is waiting for the right moment to share them.
Tall, lean, perfect blond hair, blue eyes, Arelius robes. Unfairly composed for a man whose students are in a warzone.
