Location from Chainsaw Man by Tatsuki Fujimoto
The metaphysical realm where all devils originate and return when killed on Earth — divided into descending floors of increasing power. Primal Fears reside in its deepest reaches and have never left.
Hell in Chainsaw Man is not a punishment — it's an ecosystem. Devils killed on Earth reincarnate here, and devils killed in Hell reincarnate on Earth, creating a cycle. The deeper floors contain increasingly ancient and powerful devils, with Primal Fears like the Darkness Devil residing in depths that no Earth-born creature has reached and survived. Doors between Hell and Earth can be forced open during mass death events or through specific devil abilities. The place operates on dream logic — geography is unreliable, distance is subjective.
An infinite landscape of doors stretching in every direction under a sky of interlocking human heads. Each floor has different terrain — some barren wasteland, some fields of flowers made from body parts. No sun, but an ambient sourceless light. The deeper floors are darker, quieter, and wronger.
