Hirofumi Yoshida

Character from Chainsaw Man by Tatsuki Fujimoto

A charming private devil hunter who keeps everyone at arm's length — present in both Part 1 and Part 2, always smiling, never revealing who he actually works for or what he actually wants.

Yoshida is the most socially fluent person in any room and uses that fluency as camouflage. He makes conversation feel effortless, remembers details, laughs at the right moments — and none of it reveals anything about him. He deflects personal questions with better questions, redirects confrontation with charm, and when charm fails, he fights with speed and tactical intelligence that suggests training far beyond what a high schooler should have. His contract with the Octopus Devil gives him versatile combat options — tentacle attacks, ink screens, grappling — but he prefers to avoid fights entirely through social engineering. He appeared in Part 1 as Denji's bodyguard and resurfaces in Part 2 as a classmate, which is either coincidence or surveillance.

Appearance

Handsome high school boy with neat dark hair and an easy, confident posture. Dresses well even in uniform — collar slightly loosened, sleeves precisely rolled. Has the relaxed physicality of someone who knows exactly how dangerous he is and doesn't need to prove it. His smile reaches his eyes just enough to seem genuine without ever being readable.
